The underground tunnels tell the story of Kranj

The cold darkness of underground tunnels can be quite eerie sometimes, but they can also arouse interest and curiosity. The WW2 structure underneath Kranj's historical center is one such place, full of fascinating history.

But the walls themselves do not speak, so we must find a way to communicate these stories. We decided that Augmented Reality was the proper medium for the task.

By triggering content through the use of a Lidar-aided tablet, visitors can get to know some of Kranj's most famous people, explore a 3D model of France Prešeren's statue, browse through archeological findings or tour the beauty of St. Kancijan church - to name just a few of the 14 points of interest available.
